progresoJob Growth is #1 Priority for SNMBA.

The future of our community depends on our job market. The region is in need of skilled and technical jobs to keep the local business market afloat. The current economic climate of Las Cruces and New Mexico is not realizing its fullest potential. Job growth and expansion is slow going, compared to the rest of the country.

We have the educational opportunities available in our local community. New Mexico State University, Doña Ana Branch Community College, and several high schools are providing our community with the resources to develop our future, but where are the jobs?

We must look to our political leaders and encourage them to make the right choices for our future and the future of our children. Las Cruces needs to take steps in creating and enacting sensible policies that encourage our job market to grow, rewards entrepreneurship, and creating an environment that attracts outside corporations to bring business into our backyard.
